During August, Green Fins coordinators from Reef-World travelled to Nha Trang Bay to assist the Institute of Oceanography and the Han Mun Marine Protected Area Management Board conduct the fourth round of Green Fins assessments.
The Reef-World Foundation (International Coordinators) were invited to represent Green Fins by hosting a booth and presenting on the main stage at the Asia Diving Expo (ADEX) held in Beijing from 2-4 September, 2016.
In September 2016 Reef-World conducted another Assessor Training Programme on Pulau Perhentian for five Department of Marine Parks staff and one additional Reef Check representative.
In July, Reef-World staff Jula, and volunteer, Kelsey, visited Mactan Island – known as the mecca of the Korean diving community.
