Tools and Resources

What is the Green Fins Toolbox?
A comprehensive set of guidance materials and tools to facilitate further replication of the Green Fins approach.

Who made it?

UNEP and The Reef-World Foundation work in partnership with governments and NGOs to implement and develop the Green Fins approach internationally. Collaboration with the diving and snorkelling community has been vital for developing the materials, which are now the heart of the Green Fins Toolbox.

Green Fins wants to be able to share lessons learnt and best practice to anyone who wants to take part in conserving our marine environment. Our members in active countries receive training at their dive and snorkel centre and receive the Dive Centre Pack that is printed for them including flags, t-shirts, the Green Fins Guide and posters helping them promote to others that they are committed individuals to reducing their threats.

However even if you are not a member, we want to share these materials to help other dive and snorkel businesses reduce their threats or for the public and tourists to get a better understanding of the threats from marine tourism.

Green Fins Report Form: This form is for dive / snorkel industry representatives and tourists to communicate with the Green Fins network about the practices of Green Fins members internationally.
