The above score is the average score of all the Green Fins members assessed in this location within the last 18 months. Scores range from 0 (no environmental impact) to a maximum of 330. The lower the score the better. The graph shows the average scores for each Code of Conduct (COC) points with the red line representing the highest possible score.

An important economic area, largely due to the tourism industry, Nha Trang attracts thousands of people each year who come to visit the many hotels situated along the beautiful surrounding bays and islands. There are some great local spots for both diving and snorkelling within the protected area of Hon Mun, which is a National Park, topping the list of most popular sites. The area is also home to the Institute of Oceanography which has one of the largest collections of marine life in Indochina going back hundreds of years and has been investigating the hugely diverse range of coral species for many years.
